CAREER EVALUATION Want to know where you’re at in your career? Want to know what areas you can improve on and where you should focus your energies? The Career Evaluation assesses all aspects of your career: • Online Promotional Strategies • Live Show Strategies • CD & Digital Sales Strategies • Merchandising • Media & Publicity Strategies • Organizational Dynamics • Overall Marketing Strategies The evaluation will give you a clear picture of what you’ve accomplished so far, what your strengths are and what areas of your career can be improved upon. Along with the results of the evaluation, you’ll get recommendations and concrete action steps you can take to immediately advance your career. • Starts with an extensive interview by phone or e-mail (1 to 2 hours) • Your answers will be studied and evaluated • You’ll get the results of the evaluation by e-mail along with recommendations and immediate action steps you can take to advance your career • Includes 1-hour follow-up phone consultation • 1 week (7-10 hours total) 3. CD RELEASE BOOST Released a new CD? Awesome, you must be excited! Have you written a marketing plan for it? If not, you should read this. The best thing you can do for your career right now is to get into the habit of writing plans for your music releases. Here are some ways we can help: Option 1- Reviewing Your Plan: • You’ll get a copy of “Your Successful CD Release” e-Guide • Once you have your plan written, you then submit it for review • Within 1 week your plan is returned to you with recommendations • You’ll get a 1-hour consult after you have received the recommendations to discuss your plan and how it can be improved • 1 week (5-7 hours total) Option 2- Creating Your Plan: • You’ll get a copy of “Your Successful CD Release” e-Guide • You’ll be guided through the process of creating your CD marketing plan • Includes weekly review of your plan plus a weekly 1-hour phone consultation • This plan includes unlimited e-mail follow-ups during the month of consultations • 1 month (12-15 hours total) |

GRANT WRITING (Canadian Artists)
For all of our artist friends here in Canada, we can of course help you with your grant applications: • We’ll help you put together applications for FACTOR and Canada Council • We’ll help you create a professional marketing plan and production budget for your application • As an added bonus, we’ll also provide you with a “Plan B” incase you don’t receive the grant so you can still have an achievable plan in place to release your music! PROJECT MANAGEMENT In certain cases, Stand Alone Records can be hired by artists who have a new CD release or large event and need more involved help. The Project Management service includes: • Creating an Action Plan with a clear vision, clear goals and detailed steps including task delegation • Includes budgeting and scheduling • Can include worker & volunteer coordination • Also includes ongoing consultations and coaching in various areas which can include marketing, publicity (including drafting press releases and setting publicity schedules), planning and time management. • Ends with a total assessment of the project |
